Is that what you meant to do?
I don’t think you realise the pain I’m feeling
Since you said goodbye and left me unaware,
You deliberately won my heart to break it
Which was cruel and showed you didn’t care.
I really believed I meant more to you than that
I thought you were the one that understood,
Understood me more than anyone I’ve known
If not right now, then I thought you could.
But now it seems it’s over and you’ve left me
You took both my love and my heart,
I had no idea that it would hurt like this
And be so terribly hard to part.
I hope you’re pleased with what you’ve done
You broke me, is that what you meant to do,
We were so good and I knew I loved you
And I really thought you loved me too.
