It’s time to jump overboard or at the very least, row the life raft away from the sinking ship, so I don't go down with it.

I’ve struggled with the platform, Simily, since I foolishly signed up a 12 month membership in February. Since then it has been frustration after frustration and the issues with the site have been getting worse and worse.

I gave it my all and tried to believe in the platform , hence why I’ve stuck it out 9 months and published 585 stories on Simily, but my anxiety and frustrations have gone from 0 to 10 in those 9 months, over and over again. It’s just been one disaster after another and it’s extremely difficult to get their support to respond to you.

Not only is the site more expensive than Medium, it is a ship that is full of holes. Now that ship is struggling in the waters and the writers are jumping ship, myself included.

The final straw for me is when they stopped paying writers because the stats no longer update. No reads in the last 17 days, when I was averaging circa 50 reads a day. I don’t believe that on one day, 17 days ago, everyone decided to stop reading my work, especially as people continued commenting on my stories.
