Is it possible to love too much
For passion to burn too hot,
There’s pro and cons attached
But is it too much, too hot or not?
Have you experienced this type of love
Where you love as hard as you fight,
There is no middle ground
But does it make it wrong or right?
You can spend your nights loving
And it doesn’t get much better than this,
But then your days are furious and fierce
The very opposite of your nighttime bliss.
They say it’s a fine line between love and hate
Or is it the burning passion calling,
How two sides of the same coin
Can be either heaven or downright appalling.
Do you leave due to the fighting
Or stay because the loving is amazing,
To go would be the ultimate sacrifice
But you’d find the peace you’ve been craving.
The years then tick on by
Are you living or just surviving,
Each dreary day the same
Due to the passion you’ve been depriving.
