The scent of fresh rain
It smells of the raw earth,
A wet summer downpour
A cleansing rebirth.

Feelings of insecurity
As I head out the door,
So I slip on six inch heels
Feeling sexy once more.

A steaming hot bath
Wrapping me in a hug,
Mediative and relaxing
A mood altering drug.

Sliding into cool sheets
On a warm summer night,
Silkiness on a naked body
Sensuous and a delight.

A well cleaned shag rug
Sheer pleasure on my feet,
Reminds me of a massage
My souls loving the treat.

Silence after a hard day
A relief to my stressed ears,
The opportunity of down time
Until my head finally clears.

A walk in a rainforest
Totally immersed in creation,
Carefree and blissfully happy
An everyday mini vacation.
