We’ve decided to go our separate ways
It is so sad to say our last goodbye,
Our love grew as the months past
But now it’s only destined to die.

There are time’s that I feel angry
Yet my tears in public are very rare,
But as I awaken each morning
The pain I feel is right there.

I don’t want to face the fact we’re over
I truly believed you’d never leave,
But I know now that was a foolish dream
I allowed myself to believe.

I’m starting to feel this was a game to you
To break and shatter my ice cold heart,
If that’s really so then you win, my friend
As you tore my world apart.

Maybe I’ll love once again
After enough time has past to forget,
It’s truly sad, though, that our love
Is something I’ll always regret.
