How Are You?

Where are you?

Lately you have been on my mind
And I am finding myself missing you,
Absolutely ridiculous idea
As it’s 17 years since we were through.

So although it’s been a lot of years
Since we were last together,
We are still husband and wife
Through marriage we are tethered.

I don’t think I want
You back in my life,
But I do need to know
Why am I still your wife?

For all I know
You no longer walk this earth,
And that would devastate me
But I need to know for all it’s worth.
