Awarded Top Story On Vocal
I’m pleased to inform you
I remember well my first Vocal Top Story, where I received an email from Vocal to advise me of this award.
However, since then I have never again received notification when I have been lucky enough to receive this status, on anything I have written.
I have usually found out when some kind soul has congratulated me on Facebook.
Today’s Top Story is no different, whereby I found out by accident. It was only when I checked my emails this morning that I had been notified that I had a new comment on one of my stories. This comment was from a fellow writer who congratulated me on my Top Story.
So, of course, I had to go check out which story was awarded this status.
Without further ado, I am honoured to share with you the poem that successfully received Top Story.
A poem written about the state of our future world, all concrete jungle, with not a plant or tree in sight.
