I’m sending through an invite
To take that prized front row seat,
Watch as the production plays out
Starring two actors destined to meet.
Feel the tension swirling through the air
The audience swept up in emotions,
Being played out on the world stage
Partly across miles and miles of ocean.
The background music begins to build
As the separated couple wish and yearn,
Taking the time they’ve been given
To talk, laugh, open their hearts and learn.
The script has not yet been completed
The production is missing an ending,
Hence the invite sent through to you
Your thoughts and advice still pending.
They will need you to intervene
Remove all obstacles in their way,
The audience holds their breathe
Waiting for you to have your say.
It’s understandable you need time
There’s no rush as these two dance,
Learning, listening, growing closer
They are only asking for…
