Our relationship has slowly grown stronger
You’ve helped me leave my innocence behind,
There is plenty you have taught me about life
And you have never been anything but kind.

Whenever I have days feeling low or sad
You are never far away, always there for me,
Helping me understand what life is like
I’m picturing a future you helped me see.

You happily shared all your life experiences
Discussing with me your joy, love and pain,
We can lose hours by talking about life
I would like to thank you for all I’ve gained.

You have become more to me than a lover
And even more than a great friend to me,
I constantly picture you as my future
My forever love in all ways that I can see.
